THE RAGE!

Hosea 11:5-7 (Amplified Bible)

They shall not [literally] return into [another bondage in] the land of Egypt, but the Assyrian shall be their king because they refused to return to Me.And the sword shall rage against and fall upon their cities and shall consume the bars of their gates and shall make an end [of their defenses], because of their own counsels and devices.
My people are bent on backsliding from Me; though [the prophets] call them to Him Who is on high, none at all will exalt Him or lift himself up [to come to Him].

For some time now the Lord has shown me that there is a rage in the world. I saw that that world is in an uproar. Agitation is the norm rather than the exception. I see circumstances that escalate from 0 to 1000 in an instant. A person cuts you off in traffic, or steps in from of you on line, or has twenty five items in the Ten item express line, or there not being swift enough action in disasters, or just a reaction to a mere question. Will Rogers once said "“People who fly into a rage always make a bad landing”.
The world is on edge. King David once said he was in that position and his foot almost slipped. His answer came when he went to the house of God and sought counsel from the Lord.

His action was correct, to the contrary though I saw that when those whose feet are slipping turn to the house, house being a picture of the church, they see the same rage and discontent that they were running from. Jesus said "Peace I leave with you; My [own] peace I now give and bequeath to you. Not as the world gives do I give to you..."(John 14:27).
The rage of the world has krept in. Our response to what we experience takes on the same feel, taste, smell and appearance as those who are coming to us looking for a better way.

1 Corinthians 12:31..Says "But earnestly desire and zealously cultivate the greatest and best gifts and graces (the higher gifts and the choicest graces). And yet I will show you a still more excellent way [one that is better by far and the highest of them all--love]".

We the citizens of the Kingdom of God must cancel, delete and discard the rage of the world in exchange for the Love of God. We must be the house that rejuvenates and refreshes the world weary soul. Our own counsels will not do. We must seek God while He may be found and he surely will give you an answer that is full of Him not worldly rage.
As Paul wrote to Titus, Chapt 3:1,2 "Put them in mind to be subject to principalities and powers, to obey magistrates, to be ready to every good work,To speak evil of no man, to be no brawlers, but gentle, shewing all meekness unto all men". These days he may have just said calm down and take a chill pill.

GOD BLESS
